I have to say I’ve never been a big fan of the monk strap. I think it’s the size of that buckle; it makes such a dramatic impact on your look I’d always be concerned it was pulling everyone’s eyes down to my feet rather than my ensemble as a whole.
That said, I might be able to get used to the shiny glint on those Italian leather ones – they look rather yummy to me!
